So many retards in this thread. One trend I've noticed when talking to people about loot systems is pretty much everyone I've spoken to who hates loot council either doesn't have remotely the high level raiding experience I do and/or has no idea how loot works.

If a guild is so shit with loot distribution via loot council, the guild will die pretty fast.
