Funny note is that the GM i was speaking with yesterday told me, in something close to these words: "Apaninros case is 100% different from yours, but I cannot discuss other accounts".

As much as I find it amusing, and even admire the scammer, I hope those kids get their gold back.

Unfortunately now that its public knowledge, the scammers will know that the GMs know their method and accounts and now the GMs have less time to act if they didn't finish the job. Hopefully the accounts trading activities were traced fully.

Me too, since it means there is still integrity to the staff vs say Kronos staff. At the same time though, I am please it also drew more awareness from the player community over this issue. What a malicious script.

Elaborate scam. Poorly obfuscated code, should've named the variables smth else to make them look like they were doing some other purpose.

Nice work however. Yet I would still be surprised if Dusith got his gold back, sadly.

Lesson learned, don't trust addons blindly. Next time the infectious code may not be as easy to find.
