Because people didn't want to start over. Opening a 2nd PvP server with free transfers would be ideal.

Doesnt need to be 2.5k cap..

There is like no lag whatsoever with ~6k people, and it starts to lag 7k+ with almost unplayable at 8k+

Overpopulated contested zones together with what feels like 500 latency is NOT fun experience, i dont know why you people pretend like its fine

its also ten years later, ten years worth of tech advancement... bliz would prolly have 10k capped servers if the game opened in 2015...
