I understand the feeling of disillusion that comes over when the server you invested all your hopes in, falls somewhat, if not utterly, short of what you imagined. But I've been round private servers long enough to know that the Greil of these servers is a figment and the best we can do is play on a server and provide sufficient feedback for the developers to look into and fix misfires accordingly.
You are absolutely right to demend a bug free, stellar product, but alas, I don't think this is plausible. Personally, I am a very social person in-game, and chatting and interacting with others constitue a bumper chunk of the game to me.

kronos:
+ nice bug tracker
+ impressive fix videos ( of tthings that i personnaly have never seen fixed in any p-server)
+ dev team is kind of transparent and answers pretty much all the questions
+ server funding wont be a problem in the future
- bug tracker has A LOT of bugs reported in (when i mean i lot, i really mean it)
- slow bug fixing, cuz small team
- stability seems to be a MAJOR concern
Nostalrius:
+ 1.4 patch is actually pretty cool and adds to the challenge. Its a big +1 for me
+ awesome stability
+ quick fixing
+ big population
- lvling not 100% polished yet
-no real bug tracker (really needed for big theorycrafting discussions)
-not really transparent about server funding/dev team

No MMO is bugfree and probably never will be.
People that complain have no idea how programming a MMO works.

Kronos will have a Auction House for Player accounts, so you can buy Accounts from others, at Nostalrius it is forbidden to sell Acounts.
Nostalrius has the best Pathing/Fear System i have ever seen on a Private Server, cant comment here on Kronos.
Nostalrius is made by rich Devs, they dont need to be funded (if i were rich i would do the same as Hobby lol).
