Retail Vanilla:
* Only ~1.5 years before your characters rendered worthless by the release of an expansion.
* Cost $60 to buy the game.
* Costs a monthly subscription fee.

Emulated WoW:
* Free to download.
* Free to play.
* Servers (often) stay up 2-5x as long as vanilla WoW existed.

Yeah, I feel really bad for playing on an emulator.

Played my Warrior a lot yesterday. It's probably the class I suck the most at.

Got Hand of Justice, Force of Will, Golem Skull Helm, Verek's Collar, Naglering and Deathdealer Breastplate on my first BRD run. Might aswell buy a lottery ticket now.

Tough decision between Mage and Warlock. But mage just edges it for me in Vanilla.
Warrior is the only class I've never played before. Liking it so far even though I suck at it.

there's no restrictions on Nostalrius as you could simply create an other account
(unlike retail where you'd have to pay for 2 accounts)

--> no point in limiting it, thus they removed the limit a few weeks after release
