This is as much of a scam as putting lots of items on AH and having one of them cost 10x more then others and hope someone accidentally buys it.
If you fall for it, its your own stupidity or carelessness.

Like it was said before: We dont need this much handhelding.

I've already explained how this is fundamentally different than the AH scam you mentioned.

Please fucking read the discussion before posting shit that has already been mentioned and forcing people to 'hold your hand' and re-explain it to you.

You're also blaming the victim. Not really a great stance to take.

It does tell you before you pay it, only way to get scammed by this is if you don't read the popup and just click yes.

Yeah it's your own fault if you click that indeed but it's very annoying and i guess it's not bannable so remember to read your mails everyone.. Freegold deleted character so there wont be any more mails by that name.

Chalk it up as a learning experience. Considering how easy it is to create an account, a ban isn't going to do squat.

GM's have many more game-breaking issues to solve that are far more important than one lazy, simplistic "scam". Lets fix bugs, scripts, mobs, etc first.

Please post your main's character name and faction.

Anyone else who supports this crap, please do so as well so I can start directing willing parties wanting to flood your inboxes to this thread.

Think this isn't an issue? Put your money where your mouth is.

If you click 'yes' without reading, suit yourself.

This, so fucking much. If you fall for it, tough shit, no one forced you to click accept, you just decided not to read what was put on your screen.

I swear, some of the people on this server are so ridiculous.
