How do you figure? Competition is extremely healthy for the server. Delaying content allows only the elite guilds to gear up before the next tier, which means they will clear it within days of release, which makes the gear gap even wider.

With a near date of release, you now have motivation to catch up and kick ass in MC. These release dates keep people playing, keep them moving forward, and keep them on the server. Letting nostalrius stagnate so other guilds can try minmaxing is what's unhealthy for the server

I hear everyone saying how rough vanilla should be but it looks like everyone wants to be able to farm and gear up until it's trivial. BWL lasted 3 hours on ED, and I guarantee you if cthun was released a year ago in its prime, he'd last less than a day. Slow progression is not what you want.
