if someone was banned for doing X, it stands to reason that X is probably a subset of the category things that you can be banned for. when the entire discussion in which this experience was related is premised on the idea that X was not a bannable offense, I think this information might be relevant.

you could be banned in retail for AFKing in BGs. I doubt you could be permabanned, but it was definitely possible to be suspended.
