guys. lets push the prices down even more.. the best way to crash the prices is to make multiple characters and distribute and auction the items equally from them to make it look like multiple people are adopting the new price.
I have 5 chars so far, and im gonna make another 10 to be more effective.

It's totally worth it to see all the greedy jews complaining about it in the forum. The more people make these threads, the more im going to mess up with those specific items mentioned..

Why get upset that things are becoming cheaper? Its not that people are bad it is inevitable with more people putting more items up there is a over supply. People reduce the price so they can sell faster.

Personally I hate jerks that put stuff up for 1c less than the next guy... I will go out of the way to buy the more expensive by 1c auction. This is the WOW equivalent of bidding 1 dollar more than someone on the price is right. its a jerk move to undercut by 1c... Be competitive!

You and some others seem to be suffering from a case of economic illiteracy so let me clear some things up for you.

• People put things up for cheap to minimize the risk of not selling. When your item does not sell, you LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT. Often that deposit is as much as 40% of the sell value. This very real risk will cost you much more than the extra pennies you could make by charging higher.
• The demand for gold is MASSIVE. People need to buy expensive skills. People need to buy a mount. People need to eventually buy an epic mount! By comparison, the demand for crafting supplies is low. Most people would rather have gold than some crafted widgets that will become obsolete when they gain some levels.
• As such, we need to put more gold into circulation by vendoring things. Vendors have unlimited cash, and some stuff just isn't as valuable on the margin as that cash. I vendor my runecloth because I don't want to face the risk of losing my deposit for a slightly higher return.
• Price reflects demand. If people aren't buying up those 50% market rate widgets as soon as they see them, then the price needs to come down. So sometimes the VENDOR demands your goods more than other players! This is a cue to VENDOR THINGS. It puts more gold in circulation.

I tried undercutting with copper, shit DOES NOT sell. People want something they can buy immediately, and i'll undercut by as much as I need to so that my item sells immediately. This does not apply to everything, but some items I simply will not allow myself to lose a deposit on. If you want to make money, go farm plaguebats instead of crying because it's gonna take you 20% longer to get your epic because others want to abuse the fact that your prices suck.
