It goes without saying that this is quite a feat and cause for celebration. That's really impressive. Especially considering nobody else is capable of doing it and the majority will not even continue to try.
Here's the log of their kill for anyone interested.
http://realmplayers.com/RaidStats/Fight ... 24&Fight=9As you may notice, they've got some truely outstanding performances. Namely a 820 HPS druid and 1367 DPS rogue. Ofcourse the entire team is responsible for this great victory, but these two deserve recognition for this great achievement.
In other related news Ahtia is well on the way to obtaining the esteemed Thunderfury. Huge congratulations and best of luck obtaining the rest of it.
Oh and since I didn't congratulate you at the time, I suppose I should add that now too. Congratulations on serverfirst weapon healing and spell power enchants. You obtained them both within a week of them being on the loottable, correct? Congratulations and good for you and your faction.
We were stuck at Chromaggus aswell and noticed how bugged he was, I don't think anyone can blame them as the problem is the script. It's not like you have the option to choose whether you turn drakonid or just get buffed.
The fight was so horribly bugged that the end justifies the means imo.
Forgive me if I'm a little OCD about rules, but:
"D - Last warning.: A last warning is given before a permanent ban. This sanction is applied in case of multiple violations of the rules, or after multiple account interruptions, as well as any of the following:
Casinos;
Multiboxing;
Abuse of in-game bugs;
Any attempt to bribe a staff member;
Organized killing for farming rank and/or honor.
E - Permanent ban.: Most serious sanction. Permanent bans are rare but definitive. This sanction is applied in case of multiple violations of the rules, or after multiple account interruption, as well as any of the following:
Examples:
Scamming.
COD Scamming;
Hacking;
Using any botting program;
Abuse of major in-game bugs;"
We all know they are strict with their policies and players have been banned for anything from clicking the AV battlemaster with LazyPig on while in a raid of 40 players to mining in Silithus caves.
This could just be my opinion, but I feel that when you go through the efforts of ensuring that your tank gets converted early enough to cause enough threat for dpsers to get converted and dps without fear of overaggroing (maybe even throw in a healer or two to be completely safe at all times), all done by carefully not dispelling until the subject achieved 5 debuffs on a fight that (under normal circumstances) specifically requires you to avoid such a thing, and then scatter shotting them; then you are most definately abusing in-game bugs. As to if it's consider a major in-game bug or not, I don't know. Mining the wrong veins was major, if you can deduct that from the permanent ban that was given.
