The population and stability of the servers is pretty amazing so far. And the devs and GMs respond fast and fix the bugs pretty quickly. However, there's still tons of bugs out there left to fix.

I am however disappointed in the amount of bugs, but recently I saw on moO_UK's stream that all the ZF stair event + gate bugs from the test that me and a lot of other people reported: All those bugs are still present in the exact same state and way as they were bugged on the tests. - This is not good. Zul'Farrak stair event still broken. Doors still don't open.

There's lots of bugs.. But if the devs keep up the speed they've been fixing stuff at so far, it could end up very well in the end.
Let's just hope that endgame content isn't so bugged...

So I am sure a little bit a kind of fanboy and not a vanilla guru either, but I haven't encountered a single bug so far. Bugged quests are flagged by the regions chat, so you can easily avoid them (only counterattack for me so far). But of cause if Hatson has a different position, I would side with him, because he knows way more then me.

But despite everything, I really like it. This is of cause mainly because of the population. Lots of grouping, lots of (trash) talk, guilds, trade and overall activity. Nothing as worse as to idle around on a server where everything you acomplish is recognized by noone ;) So yes, for me the server OVER fullfilled my expectations. Hadn't seen a 5k population coming, since I thought advertising was bad. But it's all viral now I guess and popularity is not only reflected in the official channels.

Did't you know that we broke all FTP servers (including Vengence WoW) I linked to in the Beginners Guide (that now has 60k views)? There are not only all the vanilla veterans from all over the web but a fair load of newcomers which I also like very much, since I am a kind of noob myself ;)

Omg there are actually antelope running around the Barrens, mobs are supporting each other on flee, and the Goblin and Ogre are actually pathing between Ratchet and The Crossroads. Starting to get that amazing feeling again I had all so forgotten. The one I had back in 2004 when I first started playing.

Well the scripting is not perfect, of course, there are bugged quests here and there, some things are bugged in a same way they were on feenix, although the whole experience is still much more pleasant, the Arathi ogre cave alone makes me a happy man. The population is beyond all my expectations, though. This is absolutely incredible.

It's so different that you can't really compare.

You can't see HP on players, you can kite mobs, mobs chain-pull, pathing is really good, pots cause threat, mobs use things like blast wave only if they're in range, you can play with max view distance, you can play with ambient sound enabled, no screen freezes at all, abilities are more responsive even if the server is 10x as populated, nearly all escort quests work, and a lot of little events are scripted, a lot of the pre-1.4 quests are taken out, and the items are changed.

I'm not happy about how honor goes to the person with the killing blow like Feenix, and I can't think of much else.

I expected 500 players. We have 5200.
Well, that escalated quickly.

Ugh, I hope this is fixed before I level enough to run ZF again and again and again. I really miss the stairs event when I played on ED.

I'm hopping on the server for my first time after work very excited. Can someone playing in the United States, maybe even specifically California tell me how your ping is and server lag? I'm pretty sure this server is hosted in EU, so I'm not sure how it's going to be over here. Thanks in advance!
