Also skip out on people that want to master loot...I joined a SM run where the leader only wanted to Armory. The Warlock in the group wanted to SM library, he told em will do it..Someone leaves and we invite another warlock, the warlock who summons him gets kicked (now isnt that a dirtbag thing to do). Its too stressful on the mana with paladin tanks they are like paper tanks in there compared to warriors.

Can you explain what excatly makes you feel so concerned about it?

Seconded.

If a group of people chose to do this, it's their business. That's freedom. We don't get to tell them what to do, they don't get to tell us what to do.

Are "Reserved" groups another name for "Premade"? I'm sorry I'm not exactly sure what "Reserved" means.

It means if you join that group you need to pass on a dropped item because its reserved by the pussy group leader

Oh hell no! If I join a group and work through a dungeon and a blue or purple Shaman item drops - that I can use - it better be available for need rolling. Otherwise what's the point of doing dungeons?

Usually, every member of the group knows the rules of the current, so called, "Reserved" group. You will be informed about reserved item BEFORE you join the party. And most probably you will be asked a several times, personally, if you are ok with that or not.
And those who don't like "Reserved" groups, behave yourself properly! Stop insulting others, you remind me a religious fanatics, who are trying to impose their faith on others.

It's ok guys, just don't join the groups that reserve items you want. You have that power!

There's no need to hate on people that do it unless they say nothing about it until you're on the boss and they swap it to master looter. At that point it's a ninja.

No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to pass on loot. Just don't go and let it be. People are getting so worked up about the idea of reserving an item as if every item you'd ever want will only be on reserve. That is ridiculous!

Look at the population of this server! There will be tons of groups! I would be absolutely shocked if you couldn't find a group that wasn't reserving items you wanted.

Let me present you guys with a relevant scenario. Let's say you're a rogue, and you aim to obtain a Hand of Justice from BRD. You decide to make the group yourself, and you get the tank and the healer on top of a mage. You need one more DPS but let's just pretend that for some reason the only other interest you can find is a dps warrior who will also want that Hand of Justice. Now most people in this situation will handle it in one of three ways.

1. They invite the warrior and deal with the competition. Cool, sometimes you just want to get into the damn instance for a shot at your item instead of waiting to build the perfect group all day.

2. They invite the warrior on the condition that he passes the trinket if it drops. If I were that warrior and I needed other gear from the place, I might be ok with that; but if I were only after that trinket I would decline and the choice is up to the rogue if he wants to look elsewhere or just take the warrior anyways and deal with the competition. This is pretty much the same deal as reserving an item and people have done this without calling it a reservation since the beginning of the game.

3. They flat out ignore the warrior because they just don't want the competition for the trinket. People do this ALL THE TIME. This is WORSE than reserving because this is just denying someone a shot at anything out of the dungeon at all. Stuff that nobody else in the group wants in a lot of cases. Maybe he just wants to get some quests done. You won't know unless you at least discuss things. If you make it taboo to even discuss reserving an item, you will see this happening way more often.

Both options 1 and 2 are perfectly adult ways of handling the situation. This whole attitude of flaming people who say they want to reserve anything is certainly NOT the way a balanced person would act.

Why in the world would anyone put forth the effort to do a dungeon run with absolutely no ability to roll for anything? I could understand if this was a guild run to gear a tank for raids or if this was a raiding guild's way of seeing how well a tank or healer does in a typical run. I wouldn't waste my time and I would hope the group tells me upfront they are Reserved. I'm glad I asked.

I for one will definately reserve Berserk helmet and Herod's shoulders as warrior tank.
I will not have punk hunter stealing it from me who can wear a leather headband thats even better statwise.

Suck it up. I'm in demand as a tank, I can make rules and when people are willing to come along I'm glad to take them along - but the zerker helmet will be mine!

Hydra: I think you didn't quite grasp the whole thing: It's not like the reserver EVERY item. Take the faster run speed sword from Baron Rivendare. There might be a warrior who is raiding AQ and they are in desperate need of the last couple % dmg for twin emperors. So the warrior starts to farm the sword in order to stay on the boss longer before swapping because he can run faster to the other boss when switching to the sword.
Now he will grind this item possibly for weeks nonstop to get the last couple % dmg.

He might be willing to take nonguildies/nonpremade (which is unlikely but thats just a situation to show you how it works). He will now write reserve on said epic sword but you will be able to roll on the blue +agi Axe which is a nice tankitem for newer players, the awesome shield from Rammstein. So you aren't left out of all items. Just the one which is desperately farmed for.

Now you can deal with that or you can make your own group and dont make any loot rules. It's up to you and nobody is forcing you.

I hope my example showed you this properly.

Cheers. :)

this dude is butt hurt over the fact he doesn't even need to join a group that reserves items, people know what they are getting into unless miss information but that's still not any reason to be mad over something that shouldn't apply to you if you don't even partake in these groups

Tl;dr op is a fag
