Considering its free, I have nothing but praise. Is it perfect? Of course not, but with seemingly weekly updates on the boards and notifications in game I look forward to where this server will be in a few months time.

Proper communication is key.. and these guys don't have it.

WHAT??

Do you not read the announcements? Instead of just making blatantly false statements, take some time and go through the forums.

The stability(lag wise) is great and the population is great.
Population and scripting are the two most important things for me and the scripting is good and population is AMAZING.
There are a few minor bugs, but WoW was a lot more bugged and almost unplayable at retail vanilla launch for months so im sure all the small little bugs will be fixed soon enough, the devs let us know whats going on and seem to know what there doing. There are less bugs in this than in retail probaly.
Best server ive ever played on!

It's actually not that great, they're using a Emu for player population and they monitor EVERYTHING you post on the forums, i wouldnt doubt if this post even made it to your eyes.
Basically you cant say anything bad about nostalrius like the way i am without it being censored

The server is well scripted when it comes to a lot of major mechanics, like mob behaviour, pathing in many aspects, and various other things.

There are little bugs but overall, the server is very polished in comparison to other servers, and fixes are happening at a very rapid pace. I'm happy here, and I'm confident that my unhappiness will be wiped away with certain small peeves as they already have been in some cases.

Things are changing every day. The population's growing, you can find new changes made by the developers on a daily basis.

I had both specializations of Engineering through a bug, and they removed my spells, and fixed it over night.

The population and stability are really nice, but I encountered a lot of bugs of all sorts (i'm level 18) and I'm pretty disappointed with all the advertising they made.
It's still free and a good opportunity to play Vanilla WoW again, but I'm not sure I'll stay. Time will tell (few weeks actually).

Edit: I'm not so good at english.

Thoughtful wrote:I've ran into quite a few bugs myself, ranging from class spells like rez/summon to mobs (wrong spells, behavior, linking etc) and i was wondering if it gets any better the higher lvl we go. i'm 31 now, and i was honestly expecting a bit more.

I guess i just want to hear you guys's thoughts on this.

Rez/summon, and mobs having wrong spells/behaviour/linking?

I'd like to see you be more clear about what you're talking about. Also, level 31? Isn't that the level Stone said he was?

I saw you posting about pet abilities in Passive stance. I think you should quit being dramatic, because that 1 bug you're worried about will get fixed. An easy macro to deal with this is:

/script PetAttack()
/script PetDefensive()

or something like that for your attack button, and then

/script PetFollow()
/script PetPassive()

some pathfinding is hilariously bad at certain locations.
minor bugs on most classes.
tiny errors like mob speech and behaviour around.

Really good server but far from "Amazing".
