The point still is: Leader advertised free roll on all items but hakkar cloak/necklace, and then changed the loot rules AFTER the mount dropped.

I'll also point out that their "free roll" policy was definitely put into effect as the main tank won DPS mail chestpiece over me.

It takes a few hours to farm enough gold for epic riding, it should not be a requirement to have epic riding to roll on the ZG mount. It's not as if he's a mage rolling on a 2hand sword.

There is zero possibility that anyone who wins that roll that doesn't have the riding wouldn't spend the next hours of their playtime farming for the gold to afford epic riding.

I disagree with the loot rules in this scenario.

That being said, the word "ninja" is not accurate in the thread title. He was "cheated" out of the item due to rules not being properly communicated therefore "changed" after the fact, which is bullshit.

At the end of the day you're trusting the master looter to not screw you over, and you're assuming that in good faith the rules will be upheld if it benefits you. You could have asked in the beginning of the raid "if I don't have epic riding can I still roll on the mount?", in which case if he said "yes" and you screenshotted it your case would be much stronger.

Please stay away from ZG until you have spend a few hours to get epic riding. If you don't have it then you're slowing the group down. Most people @Nostalrius aren't keen on rewarding slackers, these slackers should've spend a few hours to farm enough gold for epic riding.

Come on people, it's just a few hours. Get the gold, get the riding and then enter ZG. It's that simple.
