you clearly don't understand anything about private servers. it's their income. if you make thousands of euros each month, you will as a business invest some of that to protect your income.

Because drama never helps anyone or anything. Seriously, it's things like this and toxicity of the community on private server that slowly kills these kind of servers.
I know some people just want to bring light to bad people, DDoSers, or such things, but the drama that follows it only makes things worse.

In fact, with those General Discussion has been "blooming" for the past few days, I'm afraid of Nos being a shitfest within the first 4-6 months.
I left ED because of this very reason. I hope Nos tries to stay clear of such things.

I had both of my PMs (to Viper, the admin, and Clank, the dev - I asked about the reason for removal of my thread) answered in matter of hours. They moved it to the private section (whatever it is) in order to avoid noise ("verbal attacks on other servers"). At that point, the thread had maybe 30 views and zero replies - people were still watching youtube and reading reddit comments I guess.

Both of them were offline when, an hour later, this thread was made - and it started accumulating replies rather quickly, so it probably got out of hand already when "detected", and they decided to leave it. At least that`s my guess of what happened.
