Yes, a server that hasn't released yet is shit, cause that makes sense. I'm actually more impressed that the Kronos devs had the balls to hold off on releasing and open a long open beta instead of jumping the gun and releasing way too goddamn early like Nost did. Imagine if all this shit in Molten Core and all these exploits got fixed in a beta, imagine how much happier everyone would be.

Exactly. I would rather have waited for something polished. When I saw 5 years in development I figured that would mean polished with some minor bugs. 5 years of development and nobody tested Molten Core for example? What exactly was accomplished in these 5 years when most of the end game content is bugged and people are able to exploit boss kills and enough money to get an epic mount in less than one week on a brand new server with zero economy.

This is not to say anything about either server, or even any other privates, but just the idea of it is amazing considering you can never expect it forever. I don't know if there ever will be a limit we reach on truly awful decision-making. Easily one of the dumbest things i've heard in the past decade.

Not to interrupt the shilling and anti shilling or anything, but can we all just appreciate the idea that this is advertised as a feature of the server, and the state of the type of people you might see doing this.

Let's be honest here, as rushed as everything seems to be for the people who can actually play their way to success, these are now the average player due to what Blizzard has done on the retail end. There are people who just can't do it anymore, and they'd rather throw money at the screen.

I can't say anything about the server itself so this probably isn't the right shill circlejerk for me, it's not even up yet, inevitably competition is great and will make all other servers step it up, but let's just all appreciate these wonderful people. If only just because they ensure the future of the retail end of this gaming genre will never get better. Cheers for bringing that to the private end as well, i'll enjoy taking your money for stuff I do in my free time for my own enjoyment.

I disagree with OP - i feel Nostalrius is way ahead oof 95% of other vanilla-realms already, and they are in its infant state. Just the fact they can handle a load of 7-8000 people is extremely impressive.

With that said, some of the "fanboys" needs to change their attitude here. While i understand that you are only trying to look out for the server, no one is helped by your rude and endless imitation of bagdad bob.
Pointing out flaws and bugs will lead to massive improvements.

If the admins are on top of exploits, griefing and bugs, this will be my home for many years.
If they start to neglect the server and/or start to act childish and corrupt, it will quickly go to shit. (look at feenix)

Overall i am having a blast, and hopefully it will keep getting better.
