MS > OS isn't a generally agreed upon convention for 5-man pick-up groups, even if a large part of the community wishes that was the case.

Just because you want it to be your perogative to identify what items is suited for what specs/role and who should thus have priority on items under certain circumstances doesn't make you correct or entitled to have others conform to your beliefs.

You are free to create a guild of likeminded people and within that guild you can then enforce any lootrules you want to your hearts content, but trying to shame a warrior for rolling on a HoJ is bound to draw ridicule from others.
Pristine realms... Industrial levels of stupidity.

Not a ninja. EVERYONE rolls need on lucrative BoE items.

False. Personally I, and every group I've been in with epic BoE drops, pass if someone needs the item and agrees upon everyone rolling GREED or NEED if no one can use it. But judging by your guilds reputation when it comes to this, I'm sure you wouldn't understand :)

You don't pug very often then, I've been in 35+ pugs and I've seen all roll need, all roll greed, roll greed if selling roll need if equipping. I'm guessing you roll with mostly guildies which is a different situation than a pug.
Your way of doing things in pugs opens you up to possible ninjas just like Axaltes, because 3 of you pass and then he swoops in to need against one other person. The safest way to conduct BoE epics in pugs is everyone rolls need, then the winner hands the epic to the person who will equip. Assuming there's 1 bad egg/ninja the odds of the item going to the wrong home are 20% instead of 50%.

The amount of guildruns I've done can literally be counted on one hand, and I've only had one bad experience with BoE epic drops so far, however we did manage to get the guy to equip it in the end.
You're right though, your way works better incase you do get a greedy bastard in your group. I'm pretty sure Robotron meant everyone rolls need and winner keeps it, even if someone else actually needs it and he even implied everyone does it, which is false, atleast in my experience so far.

The only time I haven't rolled need on a lucrative item was when Foror's dropped in a full guild DM East run, and the tank needed it.

Thanks, I was not in the mood to write another identical message in the hopes that you would get the point.

Name: Flauros
Race: Tauren
Class: Shaman
Guild: "Solo Para Pivitas"

Item Ninja'd: Enchant Bracer - Superior Stamina

Backstory: UBRS Raid, the enchant drops, it is NOT linked in raid chat or rolled for by anyone. Flauros loots it somehow (Screenshot Proof of RL saying he did not allocate it). He then refuses to allow me to roll after the fact, and threatens the RL that he would rather leave the raid than allow others to roll. Lastly he even admits he ninjad it.

Bonus: I had a chat with his Guild Master (Atinotecuro), who refused to kick him, without even asking for my screenshots.
I don't even care about the enchant itself but beware of the player and his ninja guild as they will ninja and refuse to kick even with obvious proof.
