Dark nights allowed?

So, replacing LightIntBand.dbc in patch.mpq with the one provided works, but the whole thing is so dark it's impossible to see anything.

How dark? provide screens!'


...and in that sense shouldn't it just be to configurate the values up a bit to get a similar effect? granted it'll take 150 hours but superb immersion orgasmic experience instead of daytime nights

I got really excited when I heard this patch worked on this server, and then I went to page 2 and read that not only is it bannable but it also doesn't actually work.

For the record, I did give it a test run, but it just d/c'd me non-stop, so I got rid of it. I don't plan on playing around with MPQs again; I love addons, but this is clearly messing with game files.

I say this because it does look REALLY cool and as an immersion-lover I would love the option to toggle darker nights. Is there any way the Nost devs could set their Warden thing or whatever it is to not bother with this particular patch? Or for the Nost devs to come out with their own patch that isn't bannable?

I'd love it if you guys at Nost Dev allowed such a thing <3

Oh. Sorry, I didn't realize how old this thread was. See, I'm getting trouble figuring out how to get TitanPanel to work, and there was another thread talking about addons, and someone linked to this thread, and I was like "woah hey this is cool" and then I was like "aww it doesn't work" and then I realized "oh no, that's against the rules!" and now we're here.

You can always use ENB, and make dark places\nights to be darker.
SweetFX and ENB is not bannable.
