I used to raid with "bad" gear. It's not like you are doing Patchwerk or something like that. It's just MC/Ony. Several people did it with bad gear back then and nobody gave a shit. Wasn't too rare to see someone raid with an admiral's hat or something like that.

I raided this spec in actual vanilla with a guild that killed KT, we had priests who regularly took lightwell. We respecced appropriately for each progression boss which is exactly what I intend to do for the Naxx content. The tradeoff is very small or nonexistant depending on what you're casting. Again, all you lose is DS and -4% mana cost on instant spells, when you don't heavily utilize renew due to stacking issues. I covered all of this and you failed to address it.

There are plenty of situations in which I'd respec as needed, I listed all of the situations in which it would be called for up above and there was like 6-7 of them. We as a guild just don't happen to be in any of those situations. If I was applying to a new guild I'd do whatever they needed. You've convinced yourself I'm retarded and thats whatever, if you have to invent reasons to dislike me, and they're really petty reasons like this that you're blowing up, it kinda sounds like a personal problem.

Again, all you lose is 4% DPS on Starfire and instant spells, when you don't heavily utilize moonfire to stacking issues.

I wouldn't reject the person. I would understand why they go that spec and have them list the pros and cons of it. essentially, they would respec to get a raid spot and understand that the benefits of lightwell is highly reliant on a dps to take care of themselves during a fight.

I only see this skill being useful on certain encounters, even then with the knowledge nowadays. I don't see a use for it even in Naxx or AQ as there is too much reactive damage happening. considering that lightwell hot gets removed on damage, it is not optimized until later expansions.

10min cd for 5 crap hots that get removed on damage. I just don't sit well with that 31 point talent this early in expansion.

this is my personal opinion though.

1. Razorgore - Good for kiting, good for putting behind wall when dodging fire. You can usually use it in both places due to duration of fight.
2. Vael, useless
3. Broodlord, good for when melee are leaving nova
4. Firemaw, place behind wall
5. Ebonroc/Flamegore, limited use because of limited raid damage - mainly good for lock tapping
6. Chromag place behind wall
7. Nef it's pretty much a bandage well for warlocks


Plenty of places you can use it even in BWL for example, without getting interrupted by damage where it's beneficial. AQ/Naxx is similar a lot of it depends on the fight and just knowing where to put it and who should be using it. Even if you think the skill sucks, which I've never said it's amazing - the tradeoff for it is miniscule. 8k healing on most fights or 16k on razorgore in exchange for what you give up is basically nothing. I mean again, this is only if you don't need extra DS/etc etc. Obvi joining a guild you'd do what they needed. I don't think these guys care about that though they just wanna be assholes for attention, lol. I'm sure we'll get some more total BS replies. I'm kind of over it, it was funny at first but now it's repetition.
