Server first MC is like getting World 9th Heroic Lord Marrowgar 25 man or World 2nd Onyxia's Lair (level 80, 25 man), which I got. Shrug. C'Thun will be maybe the first server first that actually matters.

Also, going full consume meter chasing is pointless unless absolutely everybody in your raid does it, otherwise your kill times will be too slow in order for you to put up a competitive parse.

And FYI posting public stats has been pretty commonplace since Ulduar, if not Sunwell, and not posting them either meant you were scrubby or had something to hide during the progression race (like the top guilds not releasing their Mythic Archimonde videos until five or so guilds got him).

You do realize that there were 3 raids before ours in MC, right? But hey, we're the no life guild apparently. Their lack of progression in said raids just goes to show how unprepared other guilds were in comparison to ours. For example: Rep grinding in silithus, or Resto pots, or doing Magmadar with one tranq, or how to actually do Garr. Nobody knew of any of that/could execute it correctly. Funnily enough they had to nerf Garr before any other guilds could kill it. No, I don't think server firsts are all that important when in comparison to the end of AQ or most bosses in Naxx, but saying what we did wasn't an accomplishment isn't right either.

That's fair. What was wrong with Garr? I assume bugs made him much more difficult than intended by the sounds of it.

As an aside about Marrowgar, only ~40 guilds could even zone into Heroic ICC on the first week because of the 20 attempt limit on Normal Arthas. =P

Reminder not to take shots at GRIZZLY, because they will come crawling out of their hibernation to bust back :o

Lol @ the guy who prides himself on beating a former grizzly member's dps by flasking every single run. Getting server first raggy sure makes you the person to beat for some reason
^And to add to that, it kinda answers the question why grizzly didn't use raidstats, there would be unnecessary pressure on their members to "keep" their spot at the top of their respective classes, and possibly also the MC clear times depending on how much people actually care about that. That being said, I'm kinda disappointed we never even got to see a single speedrun ;)

For people who proclaim to not care you sure do talk about Grizzly a lot.

I'm sure the OP is glad his thread got derailed.

It's fine, one of the first replies to this thread was that people where talking about it, just not in the forums. Since I dont play anymore since I'm in uni I only check the forums weekly.

Lazermon wrote:The last two times I flasked, I hit the top 1 and 4th server wide spot vs ragnaros as well as top10 on pretty much every other fight where decursing wasn't involved (and held that top 1 spot for 2 weeks). That was over a month ago. But hey, raidstats completely nullifies anything done in the past in favour of the present 1-2 weeks as long as everyone isnt already full BiS. I haven't been getting much in form of raid loot the last 5-6 weeks, and I haven't bothered with flasking for a long while either, so naturally my rankings have gone down.

The other grizzly dpser who continued raiding here is Zecov. http://realmplayers.com/RaidStats/Playe ... ayer=Zecov.

Let's not pretend grizzly avoids using raidstats because were afraid you will see our shitty dps. You people just don't seem to ever understand it, do you? We dont play for the clear times, we dont play for the boss kill times, we dont play for the gear and we sure do not play for individual DPS performances. We play this game for the raid progression race, we prefer clearing our raids in lvl 40 greens months before any other guild manage to get there. Raidstats serve no positive purpose for grizzly's goals, and can therefore only be two things, completely pointless or downright detrimental.

TLDR; you're garbage
oh, ok.
