@Ripperoni - you do realize that when you admin a Discord channel that you can go and edit your own and others messages? As soon as I posted this thread Krondog went back and edited those messages. I posted two different screenshots. If you believe his lies I wish you the best of luck in <SORRY>. I'm sure he will give you some loot for white knighting his cause.

I also have a sound recording of Therd, Xanni, Krondog, Reapers and Swigx admitting to having a corrupt loot council.
I will post it in a couple of days.

@captaincrook - Just because someone is a master looter does not mean the loot council isn't corrupted. I have a sound recording of you (Therd) your brother Xanni and the other clowns (Krondog, Reapers, Mugshotx, Swigx) admitting to voting on the loot to go to your friends. Yes, I did know that the merger was happening and I tried to dissuade you guys from doing it. I've been planning on quitting for a few weeks now and this event officially killed it for me.

@those who think I'm upset because I didn't get a raid spot. You can see that I'm on the 'official' roster that they created. I was planning on quitting and

I'd rather raid with a guild of chinese gold farmers than the bovine's from Team Bring It
These guys are the most autistic individuals I've ever encountered. The worst part is they pride themselves on their WoW Vanilla Raiding Abilities but they can't even clear MC without 86 deaths.

@koru, I'm quitting the game. I have no desire to clear BWL/MC/ZG anymore and this server is going to shit. I created this thread to warn future individuals and those in <SORRY> of the history of their officers. But, I guess it wasn't needed because everyone on the server already knows that <Team Bring It> are the biggest try hard ass clowns on Nostalrius (who can't even keep a guild together longer than 3 months)

@those who think I'm bad. Unlike you guys I fully admit to being a mediocre player. I'm not talking in world chat or on the forums pretending like I'm the best rogue on the server (unlike certain <SORRY> members).

If I'm so bad you guys must be in a tough spot. Here's just a few raids where I was in the top 3 DPS of <Surge>. Swigx was a human combat swords rogue and he couldn't beat me. Must be rough trying so hard at the game yet failing to beat mediocre casual players.

P.S. Remember I will paypal $50 to everyone who posts in this thread if <SORRY> kills C'thun (LOLz).

Even if you're okay with screwing over your guild-mates, in the long term, the whole guild will suffer from the inequity. Having slightly better players with slightly better items isn't worth the cost of distributing that way. Player happiness is the resource that best reflects the health and longevity of the guild.

Corrupt or not corrupt, LC isn't well suited to vanilla WoW.

@setup

You nailed it spot on. I played with Surge because of one reason to have fun raiding with a group of friends, we were casual yet had hella respectable clear times in MC and BWL.

@Krondog Yeah I was master looter every raid but our LC system had class leaders of their respective class dealing with loot. Even if I was master looter I trusted my Officers decisions as I thought we were friends in it for the long run.

Really disappointed but hey that's vanilla wow.

I enjoyed building a fun and laid back raid with everyone in Surge the past few months. There are about 20-30 of us who will be rebuilding under <Sprite>.

We have had 32 people join us in the past 24 hours who we have a history of raiding with. I think we have a good group of people who would rather play computer games than manufacture drama. We're looking to get back to BWL asap and will be working towards clearing all content in one night over the next couple of months.

To my friends still in Sorry: I wish you all the best of luck and I'm sad we are not playing together anymore. I hope you guys get what you want out of the game and keep enjoying your raids. If I hadn't made up my mind before the raid last night I would have known after 30 seconds of being in the Team Bring It Teamspeak, that isn't my crowd. If any of you find that you don't fit in with the Team Bring It guys you will always have a spot with the core Surge people.

Setup I've never disagreed with any of your posts until now. Loot coucil is a much better system than DKP because it gives you an incentive to go beyond simply showing up for the raid. Some things that officers take into account:

- Topping DPS on every boss
- Reacting quickly to wipe-potential situations
- Never making a mistake
- Providing consumables at a discount rate for your guild mates
- Helping out with 5mans and PVP goals
- Organizing and providing external resources (websites, TS, spreadsheets)
- Building a strong community within your guild and guildchat
- Dealing with bullshit drama on the forums

None of this is accounted for in a DKP system. Sure you won't make a better raid by simply gearing up your friends, but you also won't create a better environment for your guild and you'll have a really bad time by rewarding the guy who never speaks and is middle-of-the-line DPS on every boss but has "no life" and shows up for 100% of raids.

@MC 86 deaths: I've been in many "top guild on the server" and no one takes MC seriously. I've wiped multiple times in MC and BWL because people are just not paying attention when we could clear both in under an hour easily. No one is paying attention because it's so easy. In a single weekend I could write a bot to control 40 characters and clear the instance. The difference is when you wipe with a group of people you like, it doesn't matter because everyone jokes about it and we're usually bullshitting about something else in TS3 because MC is only exciting when legendary loots drop.

On the rare occasion that the ones in charge of LC aren't shady af and are legit then yeah, it's better than DKP. In all my time playing WoW any guild I've ever been in that was LC either constantly had guild drama or ended up breaking up due to it.

Even when the council is legit and does it fairly there will always be people who disagree with decisions. It's not really worth the drama to try and loot council a guild, especially when you're already socially inept and struggle to communicate whatsoever like the leaders of TBI.

@metagame I agree with you on the fact that loot council is better than dkp for a lot of the reasons you stated. As for the 86 deaths that is not good and no real excuse for it. We just recently reformed and lost a lot of good healers and only brought 37 people to mc along with a bunch of new healers and we had 17 deaths. I know mc is boring and no one really wants to be there but wiping there makes it even worse. If I was clearing content for 6 months and we were still wiping to stuff that we have no business wiping it would drive me insane.
