When you find out that this is a source of economy-breaking levels of bugged loot (i.e. 5x Alcor's Sunrazor in a week or whatever), and continue doing it and then selling the spoils, there can be no claim of innocence. He knew it wasn't legit and still did it. It's textbook exploiting.

He found out, that the loot is bugged. It was obvious, since it dropped unheard amount of epics. He seems like an experienced player, so he KNEW that it's a bug. Knowingly abusing a bug = exploiting. I can't imagine what counter argument can be brought up to convince anyone, that he's innocent.

So surely the same arguement can be used for the guilds that have downed Rag then?

Fact: 87% of thread participants are low info communist peasantry engaging in an emotionally driven lynch mob without regard for the implications

I'm the kulak with one cow more than his neighbor

Your frothing hate feels good right now, but you'll cry rivers when the precedent is pointed to for the removal of your own friends

Which will happen

The policy of feelios hurts everyone, eventually

Yes it can, although killing a boss is a completely different circumstance, than abusing a loot bug over and over again.

Both are still knowingly abusing a bug for gain though, if one person has been banned for exploiting then everyone one should - otherwise you have to wonder why there is no consistensy?

Nostalrius generally having funserver drop rates is what it is (their server, their decision), but it's not a bug or an exploit.

I know you are trying to imply that the GMs don't punish GRIZZLY because they are friends or whatever is the circlejerk about nowadays. But when you are killing a boss, and done 3/4 of the fight, you won't wipe because "ohh guys it's bugged, don't kill it because it's not legit then".

Except the fact that the boss worked when GRIZZLY first did it and it was broken to not ranged nuke after a patch.

Not talking about GRIZZLY, its the other guilds that have done it with no tanks for 3/4 of the fight havent they - but it seems that guilds are range stacking as Rag doesnt kill range or something along those lines, thats exploiting.
