First let me clarify that all GM's have normal accounts that we play on the server with. We have players on both alliance and horde. GM's are watched extremely closely for abuse on their accounts by the admins.

Secondly, Theldras has stepped down from his position as a GM. I would also like to say that he did NOT teleport a member of his normal accounts guild into MC. I'm not sure who did, but I know he did not.

Simply put, this was a fuck up. It happens. Life will go on.

Hopefully you all still trust me as a GM to be able to tell you what's going on; some of you have seen me in-game as Demonize. I still love you all and hopefully you all still enjoy the server. I know things like this are fun to laugh at and make conspiracy theories about the behind the scenes working of the server, but I promise you that at no point did he abuse his power as a GM. Any GM who does abuse his or her power WILL be terminated immediately.

Because the witch hunt just said that Grizzly has a GM on their side or something, but no one really had anything else to go on. While people love spreading juicy rumors, there wasn't enough information to bag on any specific member so people went after Grizzly as a whole.

Here, players are going after a single person and I would like to try and diffuse the situation as quickly as possible. I've already stated that Theldras has stepped down and have confirmed that he did NOT abuse his in-game GM powers; he simply wrote on the forum under the wrong account.

I do not know if anyone ported Zetox in, however if it was done by a GM, their action was not considered an abuse of power by the Admins.


As for guilds being accepted in to test BWL on the test realm, I do not have any information on that but can find out later (I cannot find out right now). Keep in mind that all these guilds will be doing is testing the content of BWL to see if it is working properly in a raid environment. No encounters will be scripted differently from how they are supposed to work when it is released (hopefully) so they are not gaining any advantage in this case (assuming you are correct) that they are the only guild to be chosen to test it.

I just wish these Devs/GM's were smart enough to realize that you need both an alliance and horde guild to do proper testing for raids.

-Exiled was the only guild (apparently) chosen for testing and 'coincidently' has a GM
-GM decided to "step down" after he simply posted on the wrong account

Why would he feel the need to step down if he wasnt also abusing his power in one way or another?

This whole situation is corrupt as fuck and damage control is in full effect. I literally saw Koopa and Zetox get ported into Molten Core by a GM, and yet its been two weeks without any acknowledgment of the situation until today when it became blatantly clear there is some bullshit going on. There are GM logs, so they obviously know which GM did it, but are deciding not to give a fuck or just cover up the situation.

Has anyone ever seen a GM post this much on these forums before? I sure as fuck have not, damage control is in full fucking effect and its disgusting.

The GM stepped down because as a rule we don't want people asking players who have GM accounts to do things. He messed up by possibly creating a connection between accounts. He still, as much as people want to believe to make this as great a story as possible, did not abuse his power.

As a GM who has put in hours trying to get people setup propely to do raids and bugged quests, banning bots and cheaters and answering hundreds of questions in-game, I'm pretty sure that I would not want a fellow GM to be abusing their power. I would not be defending him if I did not know he was innocent.

Also, I'm not sure why you're so upset over this Eyecex. As I stated before, The Admins have access to the logs so they can keep on eye on THEIR server. When they wake up, they will investigate to make sure that none of us have done anything we're not supposed to.

As I said before, I'm simply trying to diffuse the situation so it doesn't become another unneeded witch hunt on a free private server.


Also, please do not attack each other in this thread. It doesn't do anything but create a flaming war and no one will win it.
