I have a Vis'kag, which means Perdition's Blade is off spec for me.

this, or we poor hunters would be raiding in Rare melee weapons until AQ40.

I see your point, I just don't think it's applicable in this case due to the RL knowing the winning rogue was using pre raid weapons.

ML>OS traditionally is used more in the case of rolling on gear from other roles. Like a healer rolling on damage gear, vice versa. It's not typically used in the way that beerfish used it in this case.

That is a massive upgrade you deprived him of.

this

dont get fooled by anything that ninjalooting subhuman tells you. "i didnt give this rogue an epic 50 dps dagger because he was using his pre raid bis which happened to be swords instead of daggers"

if a mageblade drops and a caster whos using a staff wins it do you not give it to him either because he isnt using a sword right now? pathetic excuse hope everyone sees what kind of ninjalooting scum is leading your guild. enjoy running those pugs hopefully its the furthest you will get here

Could even stay with the rogue example. Say a rogue with lobo/distracting dagger wins the roll on a Viskag? Under this logic do you pass it to the guildy rogue because the dagger rogue is an "off spec roll" ? LOL... I really don't see how anyone with a brain would accept that.

If you're not going to question grouping with him over being a ninja, at least question grouping with him due to him being an idiot. This guy should never be able to run a pug here again.

I was another rogue in that raid aswell. Whether you choose to see it or not, there is a difference between a sword and dagger rogue. That is exactly why I didnt roll on the dagger. Only 1 of 4 of us was obviously specced for the purpose of daggers and thats the guy that got the dagger.

No ninja here, move along.

100% true, seeing that the raid MS (Spec - Specialisation) over OS. The Rogue who got the daggers was actually the only with the specialisation in daggers.
Seeing other classes don't have these specific talents for specialisation (beside from wands). Its clear that even rogues CAN have MS/OS.

Exactly. We even talked on Mumble about handing the dagger to the dagger rogue, instead of the swords one. All the rogues agreed on it, except for the only one in the entire raid that wasn't on Mumble - and he's causing a ruckus on this forum now. You can bad mouth whatever or whoever you want, but in the end you should understand that you were part of a Molten Core PuG where MS > OS was specifically laid out as a base rule. You were the only one in the PuG not on Mumble and obviously not happy with its result. Although valid points have been made on this forum about rogues being a DPS class in itself and therefore viable to roll on daggers if they use swords, our PuG wasn't designed like that - as was, again, specifically laid out at the start of the raid. We chose MainSpecialization over OffSpecialization, meaning the dagger rogue in our raid had priority over the sword rogue after the dagger dropped. Again, this was agreed upon by everyone on Mumble, including the rogues. Sadly you weren't on Mumble and did not voice any concern in raid chat after the rules were laid out. Again, I'm glad a few people who were part of the PuG have also shared their recollections. It was a fun night and we're doing it all over again next Tuesday. Join us, if you like, and you'll find that we're not, as so eloquently put by "DankAzZmemer", "subhumans" and/or "ninja looting scumbags". Too many words have been wasted on these false accusations. I will say no more about it.

DEFENSE FORCE ACTIVE. Maybe we should keep this threat around so we can keep getting fucking great drama. You have dal rends so you can roll on gutgore, christ. Of course they have fucking dal rends, it's better DPS until you can get a fucking MC dagger. If you're running a raid try to have even the most basic grasp of itemization progress for classes.

This. I'm sure some people are buying the explanation... Or him getting his buddies to post in support on random forum alts. NEWS FLASH- there is a respec button and it's working on this server

It goes back to what I said a couple of posts earlier. You're either a ninja, or a guild and raid leader that really isn't knowledgeable on the itemization progress of other classes (aka probably not fit to raid lead).
