Kronos announced release date

Well, Nostalrius staff, don't mess up the opportunity.

It basically comes down to this, the Nostalrius devs have a real opportunity to shine with this release head start.
Hopefully their polish is better than what they've shown in the preview fix videos. The contesting animation is missing from the AB video, how could something so obvious seem passable as a public showcase of quality?

Rebirth is still better than most other private servers available. The only problems it has are low population and general server stability. (And bugs, but at least they slowly fix bugs, unlike the Feenix group)

I really hope that Nostalrius is perfect or if any bugs are found the devs fix them in less than a week. If Nostalrius is perfect, the "race" will end before it even begins. Nostalrius will be an obvious choice with their timeline.

WoW. Lots of crybabies here. None of the server has launched yet, and to be honest, the Kronos community seems better right now. I found out about the server at about the same time, and for me it's safe to say that Kronos got the upper hand here. I have no doubt that Nostralius will be a great server, and I will surely test it out, but right now Kronos seems like the better server, for me that is.

I think Kronos is launching too early and too late.

Too early: 1 month may not be enough time for the playerbase at Nos to experience endgame, judge and be fed up with it's quality. If it isn't, than KR release day may be underwhelming with a lot on Nos.

Too late: Nos does indeed form a thriving community, and the bugs it will certainly have being fixed at a healthy rate, why would people level all over again at KR with a completely new community?

It's Nos's to lose at the moment.

If anything, KR should be releasing mid-April if not later, give the player base enough time to form an opinion and get hyped for a even more polished (by then) project. I've been rooting for both horses for a while now, so really, I just hope the better project gets the healthier population.

Banezilla, expecting Nostalrius - or any other server - to be perfect is unreasonable. Unless...

After a little research I did on Kronos forums, things are becoming more clear.

" You are certainly aware that lots of bugs on different servers WILL NOT overlap, so picking a bug on one and then testing it on another (in first-Nostalrius-then-Kronos order) could easily simulate Kronos´s "superriority", which seems to be your intention.

Few more illustrative Banezilla quotes from Kronos forum: "Hopefully less than one day before the Nostalrius release is enough time for the fence sitters to see a difference." and my favorite "1 Day before the N-word's server launch, is that enough time to make an impression on potential players? Hopefully nothing goes awry during that first day." - compare this with the big red "hope" for Nostalrius perfection upthere.


PS speaking of your last question, in connection with server you are "subtly" trying to promote, what was the aim of it? Transparency is certainly not Kronos´s strong point.

Earlier in the same post, I mentioned this. This consideration of KR will be triggered (at least by some like myself) if Nos does not deliver on quality.
