You seem confused. There are people who don't like the population, so they're asking for a new server to be made so that they can play on it. How does the end result differ from what you are suggesting?

because most people play here because of the population and making a new server would drastically lower the population.
if people here dont like the population on this server, they are free to play on other servers with lower populations.

Who says that most people play here because of the population? What evidence are you basing that claim on? Based on the fact that many people are complaining about the population, I think it is fairly evident that there are people who play here for other reasons.

In any case, you are missing my point. If everyone that has issues with the population were to take your suggestion and go play on other servers, then that means they would be leaving this server. That means that this server's population would decrease. In the end, it would affect *you* exactly the same as it would if there were a second Nostalrius realm that people could choose to migrate to if they don't like the population on the current one.

You're unbelievably simple minded person. You remind me of those people on the official forums who basically replied with "if you don't like it, go play something else" to every possible complaint or negative post there was.

Let's say the situation got so bad that there was a 10 second delay with every spell you cast. Would you still say to yourself and everybody that the only solution to the problem would be to go play somewhere else? Would you honestly think that there should be no discussion about how to make the server more playable, just because "it is what it is"? I doubt it.

There's nothing wrong with suggesting solutions to this problem, as just by reading these forums it's pretty clear that there's a lot of people who don't like it. And even you should be able to understand that the problem isn't with the population per se, but with the problems the population causes to the servers.

With current conditions the vast majority of people are happy, no shit if it gets to 10 second delay people wouldn't be happy. In other shocking news the sky is blue.

how is shedding a 1,000 or 2,000 "new" people affect an already "rich" population.

and people that are unhappy usually just leave or stop playing.

in general, people are happy for sure. but there are also things that lower their happiness. so does the lag and the too high population - atleast for some. you know, tastes vary from player to player. and while some are more into playing "chilled" and relaxed enjoying the game itself, others prefer having a big, fat (lag) party.

You don't understand how this works do you? Not everybody who's unhappy about this situation posts on these forums. For starters, have a quick read how many complaints there are in relation the total amount of posts on the forums, and you just might start getting the idea.

You also didn't seem to understand that my "10 second delay" was just an example. I did say "Let's say" at the start of the sentence to try to make it easier for people like you to understand it. In fact, you don't understand a lot of things do you?

If you want to leave the situation as it is, that's fine, but other people want to make sure the server grows and stays playable in the future. Why you would want to stop them from doing that?
