I'm a huge fan of world pvp and the main reason I play Vanilla is because I love how world pvp can change the game any time, any where. Normally I would be the last person to complain about world pvp, but this situation with Dire Maul is completely out of hand
Literally 24 hours per day there are 30+ rankers camping DM courtyard. Traveling between different wings of DM involves inevitably dying multiple times. At first when it was only 1 group of rankers at a time, it wasn't too bad because you could fight back if other Alliance were near, or evade them. At the worst you would die once or twice.
Now, there are so many rankers camping that death is completely unavoidable. And when you die, there is nowhere you can rez without a Horde pvper being within 5 yards of you. When you combine the sheer number of Horde that are camping with the unplayable lag from 11,000 players being online, it literally takes 5-7 corpse runs to cross the courtyard
>rez at 50% HP + mana
>immediately blanket silenced and/or stunned
>zerged by 5+ PvPers, Iceblock fails due to lag
>die, repeat
Pure cancer
If it was an occasional thing, or even was only 1 group of players doing it, I would say its part of Vanilla and people should just deal with it, but it is LITERALLY 40 kids doing it 24 hours per day
I have no idea how this could be fixed but it is starting to become truly cancer.
