Witcher wrote:Hey Everyone,

First let me clarify that all GM's have normal accounts that we play on the server with. We have players on both alliance and horde. GM's are watched extremely closely for abuse on their accounts by the admins.

Secondly, Theldras has stepped down from his position as a GM. I would also like to say that he did NOT teleport a member of his normal accounts guild into MC. I'm not sure who did, but I know he did not.

Simply put, this was a fuck up. It happens. Life will go on.

Hopefully you all still trust me as a GM to be able to tell you what's going on; some of you have seen me in-game as Demonize. I still love you all and hopefully you all still enjoy the server. I know things like this are fun to laugh at and make conspiracy theories about the behind the scenes working of the server, but I promise you that at no point did he abuse his power as a GM. Any GM who does abuse his or her power WILL be terminated immediately.

We caught you.

To my knowledge, no one has done anything to break the rules that hasn't already been removed from the GM team.

I do not personally know who (if anyone) teleported the player into MC, but I promise you it was not Theldras.

If the player Rottix made that accusation, I see no way they could back it up.

Please adequately explain to me that while it was being streamed when an Exiled member was ported into his raid by a GM, that it was not any kind of favoritism, and when GRIZZLY was constantly accused of having GMs, not a single fucking one of you stepped in to say we don't have a single GM in our guild, which is the goddamn truth. Fucking. Disgusting.

Any of you thinking that when I mentioned having a secret weapon having something to do with a GM in first place is wrong. I personally as a player see nothing wrong with GRIZZLY camping Exiled. It is a PvP server and I fully support it, this is how my server was in Vanilla. However my guild Exiled is PvE focused and doesn't care for it. From my knowledge Zetox was simply summoned by our warlocks after dropping combat. If he was teleported in by a GM I personally would look down on it.

Just a clarification because I would never support that or gloat about it on stream. Secret weapon was just us going out there to get him back which we did and lost our beloved Dipzy. QQ he was given back at the mercy of Keyl.

In general, the GMs have not talked about anything. Raid content/launch/progression, bug abusing, GM stuff, or public relations often come weeks after the point, if AT ALL. To come out so outspoken in such a defensive way basically contradicts everything you have done to this point.

I am guessing none of the dev/admins were around which is why you felt the load fell on you. I appreciate your effort to stop the spread of the fire. I think it is the right move. I thought this is how things should have been handled since release, and a more public GM presence overall is better. In this specific instance though, with how hard and fast you came to the personal defense of the GM. It looked bad. A more nuetral approach probably would have led to much less of an issue.

I really hope that with all the came to light today, they re-examine the logs for that day in question. Hopefully there is no foul play, but if not, all appropriate measures will be taken. IF things are found to be off, I think you do have to let the public know. Apologize for it all, and hopefully they accept and move on.

Soooo many GMs "make a connection between their personal and GM accounts"

You just don't realize it.

I hope this server doesn't become like all the other private servers filled with powerhungry GMs with daddy issues.

(Not all GMs are this way, most i've dealt with are cool guys)
