That was certainly the way it worked, at least in the start, on my server in vanilla. Not shitting you.

The greed button didn't exist yet and everyone needed straight up on everything BoE. If something that dropped was and upgrade you generally asked whoever won if you could have it and some people did give you the items some didn't. Giving away greens was more common than blue and purples.

I think we should get as many people as possible to deliberately shitpost here (even more than we are already doing) so the mods will eventually be forced to close it. Also report the OP daily until the thread is shut down. This thread is probably the highest concentration of cancer on these boards. The posted you quoted is just a small example of such.
