did you state loot preferences before the run? I don't see anything that horribly wrong by someone needing an item he will actually use as Shadow priest right now for raiding is kinda no-no.
And by looking at him even GREEDING the profitable rare item that some of ppl on this topic would instaneed, not sure how does it look.

no until it is stated, If you can actually use item there is no rule by not needing on healing items with class that has 2 healing talent trees.
It rather looks your friend lost roll and now you are having sore ass over an item that drops half of time from boss that is accesed in about 5-10 minutes if you farm for him.

If person roll for off-spec its not change me anything he join to party as dps , and hes shadow its say all , if he was healer spec , he was not have shadow form. And stop protect ninja or its you that guy.. ? And before he join he didn't told me he need healer stuff or something like that , i have streamed all this dungeon and its will be in history , later i gona post video if dam wanna see hes run. , and for all ninjas i have macro and i share sometime in world chat. Do we need on Dungeons use Master loot all time ? stop doing it and no need post like that .
