You, me and everyone else knows very well that it wasn't a misstell. You wrote it on purpose. It came after a torrent of penis "jokes" and if you had not been muted, how much more obscene would you have gotten or how much longer would you have kept it up?

We get hundreds of tickets per week of players complaining about verbal harassment of all kinds, if it is against the Terms of Use(viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8), we will take appropriate actions. Just because you think it's funny, it does not mean all people do, no one is ever been muted or suspended for being helpful to another player.

I think you GMs are interpretting "verbal harassment" wrong. People can use their ignore lists in a lot of cases.

Blizzard was never this strict on moderating chat or on what they consider "harassment"
Not everything you say in game to people is going to be nice, if you fuck up or say something stupid expect to be told you fucked up or how stupid you sound.
