If you look at it that way, I can't really blame the staff, even though a preliminary warning to the bans would have been appropriate.
After all it's just one week so I'm pretty sure the affected players can get over it eventually.
Should look at it this way: it sets a dangerous precedent for testers that would encourage them fucking off from testing entirely because
you can now get banned for things that you wouldn't have gotten banned for in retail WoW.I'm just waiting till a guild gets banned for "knowingly abusing" nefarian's throne/caves to avoid LoS on shadowflame. But I'm sure since it'll be a "big name" guild people will come out in droves saying they deserved it, much as they're doing now.
