1. black lotus still spawns in AV (just saw some1 looting it yesterday in AV)
2. blac lotus prices are overhyped right now because of BWL (simple supply and demand question)
3. you should play the auctionhouse smart and buy lotuses weeks or months before new content gets released / always get some when you have spare money for cases like this if you dont wanna farm so much...
4. black lotuses were like 30-35g 2-3months ago which will probabbly become like this again when BWL is on "farm" mode for most of the guilds because most guilds will flask for 2-4 weeks and can do teh dungeons probabbly without flasks.
5. not even everyone can afford a flask for 100-120g which will cause probabbly an AH inflation because most people wont buy any lotuses/flasks for that amount of gold unless you have enough gold (but i dont think thatll be the case for 90% of the server)
6. you cant even speculate about naxx right now because no one knows how teh server looks like in 1 year,

TL:DR your own fault if you start buying flasks 1-2 weeks before a new content gets released/dont backup some gold for it

Yes I have glove enchant/spurs/carrot, been doing this for a long time. there is far more than 3 spawns.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't believe those speed buffs stack with each other.

Gloves +2
Carrot +3
Spurs +4

They stack for sure; most people only have spurs/carrot, and I pull ahead of them considerably by the time I get to the lotus.

I can confirm he is a fat dwarf on a fast tiger. If you don't have the 3 mount speed boosts you're pretty much out of the lotus race now.

To be honest if you are farming flasks for mc/bwl you're wasting your time. Everyone is way better geared and way more optimized than players were back in the day. If you can't complete these raids with the wealth of information and higher dps/hps/tps available to you now, flasks aren't going to help.
