I was looking for a blacksmith over 200 and got directed to a guy named 'Showtime'. Asked him if he could make an Inlaid Mithril Cylinder and he said yes. So i mailed him the materials + the plans, and told him to C.O.D it back for 3g. Later when i asked him if had made it yet, he said he vendored all of the mats. It has been over 10 hours and i have yet to get back what i sent him or what i wanted him to craft for me, so i assume he is speaking the truth. watch out if you're trading with him.









his response to my question in the last image was 'got em', and that's the last i've heard of him. don't care to be pedantic since the mats were cheap, but his actions made me want to warn others.

If you take anything online as insulting, you should go smell the flowers outside and come back when you have a thick skin. Nothing here is hurting you physically and nobody knows your real name unless you allow them to. You can just walk away at any moment. If you don't, you're allowing these people to offend you and you allow them to see your reaction like you're showing at this moment.

Conclusion: the problem relies on a reaction. Taking offense to anything online and showing your reaction is just feeding the person that tried (and succeeded) to insult you. I blame the offended because of this reason. You'll never stop people from attempting to offend another person. You can only stop the offended people from getting hurt BY WALKING THE FUCK AWAY FROM YOUR SCREEN.

Ye, tell that to the number of internet bullying incidents over the years resulting in people commiting suicide and so on. Are they just oversensitive and its their own fault? Perhaps. Why stop there in that case? Maybe rape victims are in the fault too? Shift the focus from the offended to the offenders, and we can have a serious discussing. There is no excuse for hate speech, telling people to kill themselves, get cancer, ebola etc. The rampant racism and homophobia on pvt servers scare away most "normal" people, and left are the scumbags. There is something very sinister going on in the anonomous internet communities, and thats an issue that is bigger then private servers.
I realise that discussing this with someone like you on this forum is not going to result in anything constructive, but others should know there are still some decent "sensitive f*gs" out there that wont spew hatred on them and enjoy the game in a casual way.

Yes, they are oversensitive and possibly leaked their personal information so people can really get at them over more methods of communication. These people aren't smart and are oversensitive to the fullest.

Are you saying that insults are rape at this moment? Why are we shifting insults to forcing sexual acts? They aren't the same. One is physical and one is verbal. I cannot make a serious discussion if you're switching this situation to rape.

If you're on a private server, you have deviated from the normal procedure of WoW. If you deviated from retail, you should expect less moderation because it's not a business running these servers now. These are people that may or may not be paid. You have the right to ignore someone's comment, a player in-game, and leave the channel in-game. You have the power to step away from an insult. On the forum, you can add someone as a "foe" which is explained in the section of the User Control Panel/UCP.

By all means, please enjoy the game. I intend to "spew hatred" at will to anyone in the game because that's what I, an aggressive gamer, do while playing the game. I'm just telling you and the rest of the sensitive players that you have the power to ignore people on and off the forum as long as you keep your privacy of your personal information. Services outside of the server and forum are untouched by Nostalrius staff so it is suggested that you do not link your account(s) with these services.

Note: I am an aggressive player, but I make more friends than enemies on the server.

Clearly the problem lies with you here, and not the "offended" ones. You are an "aggressive" gamer with no respect nor regard for other peoples feelings, you will continue to be douche online because thats "how you play" the game. If someone happen to care about things people say online its their problem, just because it is... Why is it so hard to be decent towards others? While I understand that PvP can bring out some competitive side of people, which makes for an extremely toxic community like the one in most MOBAs for example. Maybe because its a private server as you say, its gotten even worse and with full anonymity to hide behind there is a perfect place for frightened insecure people to find some kind of confidence. But even then it doesnt justify ones behavior, it never does. So what does this say about you? I see an insecure, selfcentered, selfish douche of a person tbh.
