Pretty much. While I'm a future tank who isn't planning on charging, it's absolutely supply and demand and tanks have the option to charge.
Who is supplying who in this situation though? If tanks don't have a viable farming alternative to running 5 mans, then aren't they kind of up a creek without 4 other people to help them farm money?
In all honesty a 5 man can be run with hybrid tanks, or lesser equipped tanks and still get the job done. Might take longer, but it can still be done. But, if a pure tank has no other way to farm gold than do 5 man runs, then I think that the supply and demand line may have some serious flaws.
The beautiful thing about the free market, supply and demand is that they are self-correcting. There is a bigger demand for tanks, than there is a demand by tanks to find a group for grinding meaning if the case was like the one you describe above, this wouldnt even be an issue to begin with. If a group dont want the tank providing the service, the tank will simply find a group that does, or turn to an alternative (albeit less efficient) way of grinding, while the group seeking a tank will be back at a non-tank-state.
