I dont remember ever reserving loot in vanilla. We did set a limit of 1 orb per player though. If you're going to have people sacrifice their time and money to help you out, you should give them the opportunity to roll.

When people say things are on reserve its like they are saying they want to have their cake and eat it too and screw you. I refuse to go on a run where people want to reserve things unless its a class quest specific item.

Right now, a shadowpriest named Nevah, from the guild Hero, came on our strat ud group as a shadowpriest, rolled on shadow stuff, then we got to baron rivendare. Chest of the exhalted dropped, he said "50g if i get the chest", nobody agreed for there was a holypriest, then he needed and won. "Only reason i came here", even if he clearly tryed to get the item by offering money and nobody agreed, and he never said anything before. Avoi playing with him. Also expect gm to punish
