players banned for queueing av with /script macro

You can't queue as a group for AV through the same method by which you do in AB/WSG.
Blizzard could have done that for 2 reasons.
1. To combat premades in AV.
2. To make everyone download an addon which bypasses their own system.

The reason they did it is obvious, and if you can't comprehend that then you're simply a degenerate.

That being said, you could argue that a 1 week ban is too much.
But then again if you've played on this server for more than 2 days you would already know by now that Nostalrius enforces their rules in a strict manner, for better or for worse (probably both)

The more likely scenario is that they just didn't get around to making it an option in the GUI since they made the API call. The API call just didn't appear out of thin air.

There was multiple flaws on live vanilla they didn't get around to fix untill way later, doesn't mean we should repeat them all, does it? Warlocks abusing the pet buff by getting a healer to ress their pet wasn't fixed untill around 1.10ish is the first example that comes to mind.

Please give one valid reason why they would disable group queue for AV only to allow it to be bypassed by an addon, besides the one i mentioned about combatting AV premades.

Also, if anyone was ever in doubt Private server =/= Vanilla retail, always has been and always will be, regardless of how blizzlike they try to be.

The more likely scenario is that they just didn't get around to making it an option in the GUI since they made the API call. The API call just didn't appear out of thin air.

Since they added the option to group as party to every other Battleground that is not very likely.

Funny how part of the ppl involved in this mess, are the same whiners from the group: "dodging is cancer for the server fanclub". But Raid queing into pugs on AV, seems to be a completly different matter for them.

I'm not going to call names on them, so I rather put a picture to keep it friendly.

This was not just some vanilla bug this shit existed all the way into wrath when they added the ability to just do it via-ingame clickable. We used it to farm honor for the entire time BC was out as well. This not some hidden thing, if you had actually played WoW back then you would know this.
