It's like he's intentionally baiting people into arguing with him.

My runs always been free without reserves (happens sometime only if i do same dungeon over 30 times for 1 item) which is not biting anyone.

Okay okay, we get it, you will spend all your game time on helping other peoples with tanking for free till the end of a Nost.
PS And paladins are the best tanks as well. Dont need to start it here. Again. Please.

You are mad because someone gives alternative to Damage Dealers and those who don't want to "pay for tank" ?

Wow how is this thread not locked already.
Heroic grinding for Marks of Valor for gear/Honor/Gold/etc... to do entry level raids in BC is what gave incentive for tanks to keep tanking well when they out geared the instance.
That's not in Vanilla so once a Tank has everything they need from lets say MC. Only thing left to do is Play the AH work on your professions.
Unless an incentive is created theres no reason to do anything for anyone you don't know/outside of guild.

Im flagging a report to lock this shit cuz the crying is not going to stop till the game gives an incentive like BC did.

TL;DR
Deal with it.

Reasons to leave retail: Too easy. No one wants to work for their loot. I want things to be hard. Everything is "Me, Me, Me". And other things.
Tanks response to OP: Hey, supply and demand. You think it's easy making gold as a tank?
Other's response to OP: I don't want to wait forever and wipe over and over again in an instance.

Conclusion: The lot of you still want easy mode. You want the Vanilla experience? Wait hours and hours on end looking for a tank only to wipe endlessly. Struggle to make gold as a tank. Waste hours and hours making alts to farm gold and mats.

You kids are delusional. You don't want to work for anything.

I know this is a necro'd thread, but I am fine with tanks getting a little something for their troubles (if they are geared to a point that it makes the content trivial for the rest of the gang). Not only does it reward them for their time, but having tanked in vanilla myself, I know how much repair bills suck and how impossible farming gold is as prot.

People trying to reserve stuff in PUGs are just laughable, though.
Greatness, at any cost.

Well. I saw this coming.
So what I did while leveling up my priest ( I only ran dungeons and elite quests ) is I added every decent tank and other nice people to my friend list. And every time I needed a tank for a dungeon I asked them in the first place. If they were busy, I searched for a new tank. Rinse and repeat. Now when I am 60 and getting my pre-raid best in slot items I don`t have much trouble with tanks since my friend list is full with nice tanks that are willing to help out in the name of old friendship. Even those who are raid geared already.

Other than that. I don`t care about the small tanking fee if the tank is at least t1.

P.S Just for that "farming as prot is boring" Try farming as healer. On the other hand, holy priests are beasts anyway.

Fuck this, I`m outta here.
