Or is it only the combination of limited donations for an unforeseen hardware upgrade combined with the fact that some players might have exploited that is killing the server? Yeah because there is no auction house right? They can buy whatever they want and then do raids 20 times easier than the none cheaters. the gap will only grow more and more. But besides that its obvious this server wont make it 2 more monthts this way so then your 'slaying' days are over anyways.

You could at least check the BIS list, Eotrampage, before you make such wild claims. But that would hurt your bullshit vs facts ratio, I guess. But seriously, could you make up your mind when the server is going to die? You flip-flop between a year, 2 months, a month - make a decision already!

The damage is already done and it can't be fixed easily. Theres no way to know how many people actually used the exploits so we need a reset for epic mounts and these exploits fixed asap! This stuff should have been fixed in beta..

While I'm not a software developer, common sense would dictate that it is quite feasible for the devs and GMs to check every lvl60 player with an epic mount and how they gained the money to buy one. If they exploited, then they can be banned and their characters and items deleted. There is no need to "reset" the server.

When some people were claiming that fanboys of other private servers posted bullshit claims here in order to make Nostalrius look bad, I dismissed them as tinfoil hat stuff but now, seeing these retarded, and massively out-of-proportion blowhard posts, I'm starting to think that they might have a point.

Please explain to me how someone buying their epic mount with duped gold is destroying the economy, worst comes to worst they just ban the players at fault and delete any gold they generated, Blizzard has done that in the past, don't see why Nost wouldn't either.

but they of course also dupe more gold, use that to buy stuff from other players.. you cannot trace all that gold and delete it.. it circulates quickly. and in the end the damage is an artificial higher amount of total gold in circulation. more money for the same goods = higher prices. High prices is bad news for all honest players cause they still get the same amount of gold from the game but have to pay more in the ah
