I'm sorry, but the staff owes you nothing. This thread is exactly why Blizzard stopped announcing patch release dates, because if it has to get pushed back a week from what they said, even if it was only tentative date, the community gets all upset. The most notice you get about patch releases is a week maybe two if they're 100% on it being ready.

If it's not ready yet or if they found new bugs in testing (which does happen), I'd rather they get everything working properly. Being in the dark about patch release dates is Blizzard like.

but if its supposedly done, and they released a timeline saying when it would be out, for them to break that timeline would imply they lied about it being done.

And things come up (bugs, exploits, etc.) they may have missed, another reason Blizzard doesn't give official release dates months ahead of time. Maybe they wanted to triple check everything after the Rag exploits.

My point being that it's not new content, it's 10 years old. You're not going to be shocked about any of the content. There might be server first downs, but world firsts were 10 years ago. You're not really proving anything by being the first to down things on this server.

Yes. We've been trying to do all available raid content in this game for over 10 years now. Delaying the raid content we came here to clear, other raid guilds came to clear, other guilds that have yet to raid came to clear, is not good.

We've all done lazy peons on retail servers. None of us have killed Kel'thuzad. And that's why we're here. Because it gave a reasonably quick timeline of when we can get a shot at killing big daddy KT.
