When I did the comparison to rape, I was talking about the concept of putting the blame on the offended and not the offender. It was simply because I wondered whats stopping us from putting that same logic to other areas of life. Like, if people get bullied to the extreme online to commit suicide, and its their own fault, the same principle can be said for real life bulliyng, assult, rape and whatnot. Like, how is it not their fault? Cant they just move to another school, change job or dress "less slutty"? Or are the internetz a safehaven away from all kinds of civilized standards and morals where just about everything goes? Doesnt that in many cases carry over into the real life? In your opinion, the offenders clearly have no blame and people should just roll with them or gtfo. It's a disgusting socialdarwinistic view on fellow humans.
