When do you bitch about having 1.12.1 talent tree in a 1.4 environment? On a lighter note, I did also notice this too AB is supposed to come out when ZG is released.

Also let me have the old, old, oldold version of WF where it's 50% more AP bonus dmg and procs infinitely off itself.

In all seriousness - The reasons why BGs are there, is for the PvPers. So they have something to do the first 3-4 months of the server's existence.
And besides, we will be using pre-buff item progression, so the rewards you get for PvP, even on release, will be worse than MC items.
There's literally nothing game breaking about this at all, it only improves the options of how to play the game the first months of the server's life.
If it weren't like this, you'd hear a lot more PvP'ers crying about having something to do.

From a warlocks perspective, the pvp gear is GOAT. Mc tier gear for warlocks is straight up agility spirit and fire damage and hp/5 regen, don't think I'd use any of it

While it is true, due to the item progression (where some of classes' Tier 1 stats are ASS), that some classes have some better pieces in the PvP side rather than the PvE - that is how it's always been and will always be like that.
I mean, I play an Enhancement, some of the PvP gear (especially once the stats get buffed later) is BiS for me for a loooong time (if not forever).
But the initial stats of the PvP gear have almost no str at all for me, so really the only pieces I could see myself farm for early on at lvl 60 is the blue PvP shoulders. Rest of the slots I could find better gear in PvE here and there.

But in most cases the PvE gear will be superior for most of the "pure" classes and not us hybrid scums.
