Considering it's the 2nd or 3rd BiS healing helm in this server right now, why are people so afraid to buy it?

Nothing sells for close to what we had come to expect on retail. The server team has done a fine job of discouraging gold farming/selling. Consequently, currency availability hasn't been pumped up by outside purchase. Inflation is very low. Gold is hard to come by and takes a real investment of time.

Thats a good point, but considering Cassandra's Grace (2nd BiS) still sells for 100-140g, the massive dropoff in price for the Holy Shroud is extreme.
