Will the upcoming r14 gear like fast offhands etc be available to people who reach rank 14 before they are added to the game?

I have heard different things like if you buy 2 of a weapon you can later ask gm's to switch it for the new version but if its blizzlike then you shouldn't be able to get the new gear.

To be clear I am not talking about when the gear gets upgraded, I am talking about the new gear that was added later like fast off hands for melee.

I don't know how this server works, but I'm pretty sure the intended design in this patch is that you have to maintain R14 to equip your gear or maintain R11 to use the mount etc which is obviously a shitty system so I hope Nost isn't blizzlike in that sense.

Instead to equip it you need 'highest rank' of r11/12/13/14 etc - whereas I'm pretty sure to buy the item from the vendor you need to be that rank, and that it's not based on your highest rank. So what Harm is asking is can a rogue for example buy 2x 2.90 speed weapons and have a GM replace one with a 1.80 speed weapon when they are added in patch 1.11, or will they have to grind back to R14 to buy it

I would like a clarification on this too please ! for example rank 11 mounts to use them you must maintain ur R11 rank?? doesnt work with highest rank?? Would be great a clarification !

In the current Nost patch (somewhere around 1.02) you would have to hold your current ranking to buy the items from that rank. For instance, if you dropped down from rank 13 to 11, you would not be able to purchase the epic armor available at rank 13.

In patch 1.6 this was changed (http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_1.6.0 under PvP changes) "Honor system reward items with a rank requirement will now require a lifetime "highest rank" of that rank, rather than requiring the character to currently have the required rank."

Since the UI is hard coded with the 1.12 client patch, you do see your highest rank attained, but that does not mean you should be able to purchase items from your highest rank, until a later patch.

In the current patch you should be able to buy and use the mount at R11, but if you drop below 11 you won't be able to buy a different R11 mount. You should still be able to use the mount if you drop to R10, since the mount only requires 75 riding and doesn't list a ranking requirement in the tooltip (could be wrong about this)

Would appreciate it if any admin could answer this question before I waste 3 weeks of my life.
