Average ganking QQ thread

So now you all might be wondering, where the crying in this thread is at but i'm not going to go there.
To all you allies getting destoyed while leveling and coming here and venting on the forums, it was exactly this way in vanilla, exactly the same.
Go out there and die to some stupid fckng gankers and let the hate fuel you and as soon as you hit 60 let the legacy continue.
This is what started the sence of faction pride back in the days, this is also what made people get faction tattoos
back in the days. But when this part of the game was removed the faction pride also died, so stick to your guns and DON'T reroll horde!

I'm not QQing, as I actually feel sorry for the Horde who find it fun ganking in this way.

But it was not like this in vanilla. You are camped 100% as Alliance in high level zones.

It's quite funny though, Horde QQ about long queues and Alliance QQ about getting ganked when trying to get to 60.

What's even more funny is that this is a PVE game with PVP thrown in.

It's not fun, it's a must do if you want to keep up with the standings and get RP for the week sadly.

Releasing AV would solve this problem for the most part.

Back in vanilla when i played allie as i do now on nostalrius we where camped 24/7 by hordes. This is as close to vanilla you can get man. You must let the hate consume you and when you reach 60 you have to carry the legacy forth to new allie players, grind the lowbies man.

I guess this calls for some WoW history. He's saying the game was initially PvE only, which is true in the beginning of the closed beta for WoW; however, a PvP server was introduced later on in the closed beta. The developers created 2 factions in the closed beta though so it's obvious a PvP type realm would exist or else the game would consist of both factions holding each others hands instead of being cautious in neutral zones.

We're not using pre-alpha/alpha stages of the game because this is where a project ends the "concept" phase when major revisions are applied. A lot of information hasn't been documented in this stage for obvious reasons so it can be unreliable.

Since I can't do the exact markup as the wiki,

Nope, still not QQing, but you remember Vanilla wrong.

Most people did TM/SS for "world pvp" or Cross Roads etc. then world pvp died when battlegrounds were released. You didn't have hordes of people out ganking levellers. Not saying it didn't happen, just no where near the scale on this server.

I also couldn't give a shit about getting ganked (I do find the quitting threads rather pathetic), just discussing it on a forum, sorry if your little kid brain can't register that.
