Video Addon Guide series

Just wanted to throw an idea out there and see what the community thinks. I 'm thinking of doing a series on Youtube, spotlighting Vanilla addons. I'm thinking quick, 3-5 minutes long per addon.

I've been trying to sort out these mega packs of addons that are out there, and found myself wishing someone made some videos so I could see what the addon looks like and its functionality.

Well, let me know. Thanks in advance for the input.

Go for it, you won't lose anything except for time by doing it.

While you're at it, maybe compile a list of the most up-to-date versions of commonly used addons. Many of the mega packs you refer to have varying versions of popular addons, and some still, while containing the most up-to-date version of the original addon, do not take into account that many of these addons have been taken by the private server community and have been tweaked, fixed, and sometimes completely overhauled to create further compatibility and features.

3-5 minutes per addon is too long, if you want anyone to watch it spend a minute, two minutes tops per addon and do 5 or per video.

Wow, thanks guys for the quick feedback. So, I'm setting up some videos as I type this.

Loved all the suggestions- @Beelzer, I think your idea of a shorter video is the way to go.
@Whisperx I love the idea of spotlighting the version of said addon. Just going through some addon testing today I noticed various versions of popular addons that were all compatible with 1.2 .

Didn't want the hype to ovetake me, but I can't help it. This server just feels right. Can't wait to start out fresh and play with yall. See yah in game.

I'd really like if anyone ever figured out a vanilla alternative to Tidyplates threat plates that change colors on name plates according to agro and threat; used in tanking.

This is not achievable in vanilla.
Mobs have no ID.
You can only target through "name".
