FOV client hack allowed?

Basically, before Wrath, the FOV scaling method for widescreen was garbage. This little hack fixes that for vanilla and/or BC. Read the link if you need specifics.

I'm pretty sure none of us are playing on a 4:3 screen so "lol vanilla ecksperyunss" isn't really a valid reason why not. In any case, I just want to get an explicit confirmation that this is allowed (or not) before I use it and get banned for hax.

If you really wanted to use it, I wouldn't call it a "hack" when asking to be able to use it.

Regardless, it modifies the game client, so no, you can't use it, because it will be indistinguishable from another actual cheat "hack". Any client modifications are automatically flagged.
