Do you experience lag/delay on this server when it is full?

Let the strawpoll decide:

Please don't move to this off-topic or support, I think it's important that people see it and the devs can have an accurate representation of player experiences on their server. For me, the server is just about unplayable between 5pm and 11:30pm server time, and for a lot of European players that's the only time they can play.

It's never just a constant highping but also very strong lagspikes that might make you wonder whether you just DCed.
Today was only playable because we're questing as 3 people. It would've sucked badly if I had been alone.

you euro's really shouldnt be complaining about lag! i have 125 ms and when there were 7.5k on, i wasnt getting any more delay than usual(which i never get any usually)

Pretty much for me when pop is higher than ~6.5k, 1-2sec delay after each spell, ie, getting fear 1sec after i gouge a priest, etc

I personally haven't had much of an issue with lag, I do d/c a bit but I can't say I've had worst experience at times on the retail servers.

latency doesn't matter

I have 5-10% packet loss, (sometimes even more) at 7k+ players from these addresses

3 12ms 8/100 = 8% host-46-18-173-69.in-addr.ixreach.com [46.18.173.69]

4 36ms 9/100 = 9% r2.thn.lon.ixreach.com [91.196.184.133]

5 27ms 5/100 = 5% r1.ixn1.fra.ixreach.com [91.196.187.149]

I can't format this properly here, but anyone else who is lagging is welcome to a pathping to login.nostalrius.org

I can have 15ms the whole time and I get very bad packet loss and consequently a bunch of delay

It depends on your location and route that you reach the server I guess, I'm going out on a limb and saying a bunch of NA people won't have this problem

The server gets really unplayable when so many people are on, I constantly get messages such as 'you're not close enough' even though I'm right next to a mob as Im getting tickled to death by the npc/ other player, and I also get a good 1-2 second delay between spells.

Honestly do not want to leave the server over this but I've died 6+ times because of this shit today. If I have to trade an amazing server pop for smooth performance so be it, all though it saddens me.

Normally get anywhere from 126ms-200ms on off peak times but no delay, no game breaking issues.

I live in an area of the country with notoriously bad connection and I only play during the EU primetime hours, yet, I have no lag whatsoever.

You don't understand where the issue is or you can't notice it.

It's not a connection latency issue.

Especially close-combat players will suffer of this. Casters can handle it somehow but it will get your nerves soon or later.
