Why is the staff so silent on DM and BWL?

First of all, I love how the GMs and the admins are constantly replying on the Support section of the forums, replying to tickets quickly, and keeping the server up. Maintaining a game with 100k+ accounts must be hell of a job.
I also appreciate testers and the devs who are clearly working to get future content working.
One thing I find a little disturbing, is the staff's silence on delayed content.
Please, just give us some info. The info doesn't even have to be good news or part of a patch note, a lot of us just want clarification on whats going on so we don't feel like we're farming MC and Ony forever.
For example, If you guys tell us BWL won't be released for another few months, yes we'd be pissed, but at least we know what the hell is going on here, and surely many players will stop speculating.
Also this way, people can decide whether they'll take a break until content comes out, temporarily stop recruiting, gather consumables to prepare for the coming months, etc.
Whether or not content would be released in the coming weeks/months, we'd like some official information on how things are going.
