Estimation Server Population.

Okay so what all vanilla gamers really want is a well scripted Vanilla WoW server and it also needs to be descently populated. I want WoW to be revamped to it's former glory. WoW was a great game because it really felt like an other world. full of other players also interested in this beautiful Gem of a game. but all that aside, how many people are actually going play at launch? I've seen people saying 1000 to 1500 players but, I have a feeling that it is going to be more. They said that 4000 people subscribed to their news letter, I know that doesn't mean THAT much but it still is a sign. I would say maybe a 3000 pop ? I'm no expert if some of you are please leave your predictions in the comments. Thank you for reading

Don't be too optimistic, It won't reach 3k nor 2k, 1k5 at best IMO.

Yes you're probably right. but still succes is like a domino affect in some cases. it could spiral and become a big ass private server but still you're right. I am too optimistic

I have a friend who has played vanilla wow for years now, and he mentioned Nostalrius to me and some other friends. Currently we are about 7 irl-friends hyping together, instead of just me and him. He is also bringing guildies from feenix. Same thing could probably happen elsewhere for other people so nobody really knows how big this can get!

Amazing! but we will see only 2 more days now Me and my 3 friends are also going to play at launch and 2 of them are REALLY hyped just like me , but the other one, well he's a bit different *cough* hipster *cough*. but I was also playing on Feenix yesterday and found out alot of people really like Nosty and are also hyped. I find it hard to believe it will have low pop .

4k subscribers doesn't mean there's going to be 4k people online at the same time and some of those will be people who have since moved on, since we've been waiting for a few months now.

I was expecting a few hundred at launch, but given the spike in guilds we had, we might actually get up to 500-1k. I've been following this server since before the forum launched, signing up a few days afterwards. Growth was small at first, but has been exploding in immigrant guilds since February. I hope this becomes the next Feenix... except good.
